The goal of this ride is to improve your neuromuscular development by learning some muscle recruitment techniques during an otherwise typical off-season/early season base ride.
During the warm-up, we’ll use several methods for neuromuscular activation so your muscle groups are firing fully before we begin the main workout. The main intervals will be short seated efforts where we focus on driving a heavy gear from a low cadence to generate a high degree of force at the pedals. Riders will come away with new warm-up ideas and exercises they can add to their usual warm-up routine.
